Search for common ancestors

During Christmas, we obtained the birth certificate of Barča’s grandmother, Věra Dvořáková, where her grandfather Vincenc Ondráček was mentioned, who also appears in the family tree of my grandmother Věra Ondráčková (Hrubá).

So I decided to investigate a possible intersection in the family trees.

From my grandma, I knew, that her father Pravoslav was born in Český Bohdíkov, where her grandmother Antonia née Johnová also came from.

Therefore, I searched the Bohdíkov registers and was lucky to find a record of the birth of Antonia, where a note about her marriage to Bohumil Ondráček in Prague at St. Apollinaire was also added.

Further searching in the marriage register of St. Apollinaire revealed Bohumil’s parents: Vincent (Vincenc) Ondráček and Marie née Poláčková and lo and behold, they also had Anna Ondráčková, Baruňka’s great-grandmother.

So Táňa (my mother-in-law) is the owner of grandmother Hrubá!

And Barča’s great-great-grandmother is my great-great-great-grandmother. So my wife Barča is my 3rd cousin once removed.

Pátrání po společných předcích

Přes Vánoce jsme získali rodný list Barčiné babičky Věry Dvořákové, kde byl uveden její dědeček Vincenc Ondráček, který figuruje i v rodokmenu babičky Věry Ondráčkové (Hrubé).

Rozhodl jsem se tedy vypátrat možný průnik v rodokmenech.

Od babičky Věry Hrubé jsem věděl, že její táta Pravoslav se narodil v Českém Bohdíkově, odkud pocházela i její babička Antonia rozená Johnová.

Pátral jsem tedy v matrikách Bohdíkova a měl jsem štěstí, neboť jsem narazil na záznam o narození Antonie, kde byla dopsaná i zmínka o její svatbě s Bohumilem Ondráčkem v Praze u sv. Apolináře.

Další pátrání v oddací matrice sv. Apolináře odhalilo rodiče Bohumila: Vincenta (Vincence) Ondráčka a Marii rozenou Poláčkovou a ejhle, ti měli i Annu Ondráčkovou, Barunčinu prababičku.

Takže Táňa je vlastnice babičky Hrubé!
