Fugue B-AIS-A

A four voice fugue on theme B-AIS-A in D Minor

A fugue I have been envisioning for quite some time.

Two distinct ideas:

• the first three tones of the fugal theme are my surname B-AIS-A,
• the theme is rhytmically ambivalent and it depends on which beat it starts.

After composing it I learned that the main theme is also a lovely Czech song.

I composed it in Ardour 7, as an exercise in MIDI editing in the DAW.

I am using the soundfont Pieta 3.0 for the organ sound.

I used this library in Organ Fugue as well and I like the great sound of it.
